In addition to the many team members that make up our company, from Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Accountants, Administrative Staff, Estimators, Marketing professionals, Architects, Engineers, Superintendents and Field Crew. Below are the key personal that oversee the major departments in our firm.
Matthew, as the third generation of the West family, is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University and Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University with degrees in Architecture. He is a Florida Registered Architect as well as a Certified General Contractor. Matt currently oversees the overall operations of the firm and is responsible for business development, overall office management and client relations.
Don is a graduate of the University of Florida and is the second generation of the Wests’ to continue the success of the firm. He is a Certified General Contractor and a Certified Building Contractor and is involved on almost every project, overseeing the quality and production of work, most of which we self-perform. He has stayed active in the field helping, teaching and guiding the field personnel. The hands-on methodology of Don West is as important to the clients as it is to the staff. While providing leadership from many years of contracting and gaining the respect of both client and staff, Don’s diversified contributions have proven invaluable to the positive reputation of the company.
Martha is the President of West Construction and takes an active and daily role in all the company’s business affairs. She has held this position since 1990 and is an integral part of the growth of the firm.
Marie is responsible for the day to day operations of the office. On top of managing the office, Marie also supports our accounting department with the accounts receivable, accounts payable and billing. The office could not run without Marie staying on top of the purchasing of the office supplies and office equipment. She also oversees our IT manager with all technology related items for the office.
Aurora is the lead accountant for all projects in the firm. She manages all the cost control and accounting files that support the final costs of the project. She also manages any audit processes with projects and is the keeper of the financial documents.
Mr. Caprio has over 30 years commercial and private construction experience and possesses strong labor and operational experience. He is committed to excellence in quality control and owner satisfaction. As the Operations Manager he plans, coordinates, monitors, controls, and closes out projects. He is in charge of all phases of the project life cycle.
Mr. Hasko is responsible for managing the day-to-day field work including but not limited to, subcontractor quality and adherence to the plans and specifications, coordinating all inspections as well as preparing daily log reports and two and four week look ahead schedules.
Mr. Ganci is a Co-founder and Principal in charge of design and production. He oversees the Architectural and Design-Build projects within the firm. Mr. Ganci graduated from the University of Florida and Florida Atlantic University with degrees in Architecture. He has over 25 years of experience in both public and private projects. In addition to his management duties, Mr. Ganci oversees assignments from the beginning to the end, producing drawings and coordinating fully with the client and consultants along the way. He ensures that each project is developed with the firm’s commitment to excellence in design and construction.
